A bit about the role

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Workplace Premises, we are currently looking for a Front-of-House Manager.

This role will play a leading role in the daily management of the client service in the Sydney head office as part of the Workplace Premises Team. The role will manage day-to-day support on the client floor, including reception, catering, events, client level space coordination and mail room function. You will be primarily focused on the Front of House operations for the Sydney head office and support for the regional branch network.

Key responsibilities and accountabilities:

  • Front of house

    • Manage all daily operations of the Front of House Team including but not limited to oversite of Reception and Mail Room functions, inbound and outbound phone calls and requests, barista/catering requirements for meetings and engaging with the business’ Executive and EA’s

  • Team management

    • Management of a small team including the Mail room Coordinator, Reception Concierge plus contingent boardroom and event waiters as required.

  • Event Management

    • Ensure functions, events and meetings held onsite are managed effectively

    • Engage with business units to organise workplace events such as team drinks, fundraising and sustainability events, catering

    • Room set up including chair/table configurations and AV requirements

  • Vendor / Supplier Management

    • Procurement & Stock Control

    • Invoice Processing and budget planning/management

  • Facilities Management

    • Management of reactive maintenance contracts and assisting with ongoing management of supplier SLAs across services such as essential services, cleaning, general maintenance, HVAC, security monitoring, electrical

    • Managing contractor attendance including base building contractors to ensure minimal disruption to the office space in particular the Level 16 client floor

What we are looking for

To hit the ground running you will need:

  • 5+ years’ experience in Front of House Management in organisations of a similar size and complexity.

  • Demonstrated experience in IT and AV troubleshooting.

  • Responsible Service Alcohol Certificate (essential)

  • Food Safety Hygiene Certificate (essential)

  • Food Safety Hygiene Supervisor Certificate (desirable)

This is a client facing role therefore excellent communication skills are essential.
