Would you like to contribute to the data protection of Rabobank worldwide? As a member of the Data Protection Support (DPS) team, which is part of the Global Privacy Office (GPO), you will collaborate and align with the privacy coordinators and experts around the globe!

You and your job
DPS is currently looking for a new colleague who, as a Medior Privacy Officer, is ready to have a focus on the dynamic and exciting combination of data protection and Know your Customer requirements (KYC). In this way you can make a difference by making sure we as a bank ‘do the right thing’.

DPS advises Compliance Advisors in expert privacy matters, handles complaints to the DPO, advises on Data Privacy Impact Assessments (DPIA’s), assesses Data Breaches in a second line role, analyses new regulations, provides management information on those topics and supports the other pillars of the GPO: Policy Management Expertise (PME) and Data Oversight (DOS).

Your top 3 responsibilities

• Absorbing new and upcoming laws, regulations and regulatory guidance and assessing the impact for Rabobank, with a focus on KYC and Data Protection.

• Using your broad and in-depth privacy expertise, your experience in the field of KYC and your networking skills, you can translate regulatory requirements into clear instructions and guidance for over 40,000 Rabobank colleagues worldwide.

• Providing expert opinions and solicited and unsolicited advice, assessing KYC processes and systems related DPIA's.

You and your talent 

• HBO or WO with 5-8 years of experience, preferably with a few years in privacy and data protection. 

• Knowledge of and experience with Wwft and Sanction Law and relevant laws, regulations and guidance. 

• It is recommendable you have one of the following certifications: CIPP/E, CIPT, CIPM certification, the post executive specialization course on Privacy and Data Protection Legislation at Tilburg university, Maastricht University or a similar training. 

• Capable of functioning in a large, complex, international organization with a diverse stakeholder's framework with different interests. 

• Fluent in English, both verbally and in writing and more than basic knowledge of the Dutch language. 

• Complex problem solving and customer-oriented attitude. 

This is what we offer you

• Up to € 5.655 gross per month (salary scale 9)/ 36 hours working week.

• Thirteenth month's salary and 8% holiday allowance.

• An extra budget of 11% of your gross salary to be used at your discretion. Buy extra holiday hours, add more to your pension savings or ask for part of the extra budget to be paid out.

• Part time work option

• A combination of working from home and at the office.
