Marketing Coordinator (6 Month FTC)

We are structured in three core banking businesses:

• Corporate financial services works with both large corporations and middle market operations in the food, agribusiness, beverage and related manufacturing and service industries. Products and services include corporate lending, structured finance, trade finance, commodity finance, equipment finance, financial market instruments and derivatives, mergers & acquisitions and corporate advisory
• Retail deposits and investments primarily under the RaboDirect brand in both countries. This is an online savings and investment bank in Australia and New Zealand, which provides competitive savings and deposit products and online access to managed funds in NZ
The marketing of the RaboDirect brand across New Zealand is managed through the RaboDirect Marketing team. The scope of this unit is the design and delivery of the commercial marketing and communications strategy to drive the broader business objectives for New Zealand and the global business.

As a member of the RDNZ Marketing team, the Marketing Coordinator is responsible for the delivery of effective marketing and communications activations internally and externally to build on and reinforce the Rabobank and RaboDirect brands in New Zealand. Job Requirements

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

• Marketing coordination and administration support Invoicing, Forms, Prizes, Merchandising, interest rate changes marketing and communications campaign records management
• Co-ordinate and deploy email marketing campaigns in line with overall marketing objectives
• Provide support and assistance as needed on marketing projects
• Co-ordinate and review key events and sponsorships
• Assist in monitoring and managing social media channels, including maintaining an integrated content calendar and supporting inbound customer queries and comments
• Ensure effective internal communication of marketing initiatives
• Maintain task timelines, monitor resource requirements and ensure that all work is completed within the scheduled deadlines.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of an existing customer marketing strategy, and associated budget management, that delivers to business objectives.

Job Skills and Knowledge:
• 1-2 years’ experience working in marketing/advertising coordinator role preferable.
• Bank experience preferable (not essential).
• Project and time management experience.
• Excellent planning, organisational and time management skills.
• Ability to work in high pressure, high volume and deadline driven environment.
• Confident communication, negotiation and influencing skills
• Supreme collaboration and organisational skills to manage cross-functional stakeholders, internally
• Builds relationships with marketing stream members to integrate all elements of campaigns and enhance effectiveness
• Strong team player with an understanding of the importance of keeping relevant inputs informed

Qualifications:

Essential:
• 1-2 years + experience in a marketing role
• Qualifications in marketing, business or communications

Desirable: (Optional)
• 1-2 years + financial services or agribusiness experience
