Business Analyst Caerus – Reference Data Management
Improve the quality and governance of reference data for 9 team members, enabling compliant, efficient and data-driven banking decisions.
You and your job
Strengthening reference data management and data governance processes as a Business Analyst, you translate business needs into clear functional requirements. You connect business stakeholders, data teams and IT, analyse data flows and processes, and help shape scalable solutions that support regulatory compliance, operational efficiency and data-driven decision-making.

- Analysing end-to-end reference data flows to identify gaps, inefficiencies and opportunities for optimisation.
- Facilitating workshops with business and technical stakeholders to translate requirements into structured user stories.
- Supporting the development of governance guidelines, onboarding materials and business-facing documentation.

Top 3 responsibilities
- Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to gather requirements, translate them into structured user stories and align them with the reference data vision and roadmap.
- Analyse data flows, processes and data landscapes to identify gaps, inefficiencies and opportunities for optimisation and standardisation.
- Support the design, implementation and continuous improvement of reference data management and data governance processes.
You will work closely with product owners, data engineers and stakeholders to strengthen reference data capabilities and align with the broader enterprise data strategy. You will also contribute to maturing the data governance ecosystem, improving Area Governance practices and enabling scalable, efficient delivery across the team.

You and your talent
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Business, Data Management or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in data management, data analytics or related domains.
- Strong understanding of enterprise data governance concepts, reference data, data models and governance processes.
- Experience with Data Governance or Master Data Management tools, such as Collibra, Informatica MDM or Stibo.
- Proven experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Proven ability to translate complex technical topics into clear and understandable business requirements.
- Excellent documentation, communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to facilitate workshops and lead structured requirement-gathering discussions.
- Demonstrated AI literacy, with the ability to effectively leverage tools such as Microsoft Copilot or similar AI assistants to enhance analysis, documentation and daily ways of working.
- Strong communication, storytelling and stakeholder management skills.
- A structured, detail-oriented and proactive mindset.
- The ability to work in a complex, multi-system environment.
- A collaborative team-player mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
Nice to have
- DAMA certification, such as CDMP Associate or Practitioner, or equivalent data management accreditation.
- Experience with Business Process Model and Notation, BPMN.
