You are the forefront of contributing to Rabobank’s strategy by identifying opportunities for capital relief and secured funding. You will be able to use your brainpower and creativity to support Rabobank’s strategic agenda, connect with investors and investment banks, and manage the execution of transactions from idea generation to deal structuring and ultimately final closing. You can contribute to the team if you:
Manage existing transactions by analysing performance, being responsible for reporting reviews and liaising with investors;
Originate opportunities for new potential transactions by creating market, data and portfolio analyses;
Ensure the operational feasibility and support structuring and executing transactions;
Stay up to date on (capital) market developments and relevant (bank) regulation by building and maintaining relationships with external parties.

With you as an Analyst Portfolio Management, the team consists of 45 dedicated colleagues. The Portfolio Management department is part of the CFO domain and its goal is to create room for future growth by optimizing Rabobank's balance sheet, executing M&A and asset portfolio transactions in all regions and offering fund management solutions for institutional investors.

The Portfolio Management department consists of four pillars: Credit Portfolio Management (CPM), Corporate Mergers & Acquisitions (CM&A) and Rabo Fund Management (RFM). CPM focuses on 4 core areas: Structured Asset Distribution, Client Pricing and Special Projects. Within CPM, Structured Asset Distribution is responsible for idea generation and executing transaction on Rabobank’s assets portfolio. Examples of transactions that we do include (synthetic) securitisations, covered bonds and whole loan portfolio sales. We work closely together with other Rabobank departments such as Debt Capital Markets, Treasury, Legal, Risk and Control.
Optionality: Young Professional Program (YPP) – Corporate Banking
Whilst working in your role as an Analyst within Portfolio Management, you will have the chance to opt for the YPP Corporate Banking program. You will be offered a 1.5 year program that focusses on your personal growth path. Within these 1.5 year, you will be offered various personal development trainings, coaching sessions and network opportunities, on top of the content driven trainings to enhance your skills required for your daily job. You will have the chance to do a 3 months rotation to another department within the bank offering you the opportunity to develop new skills, which makes you accelerate as a Young Professional within Portfolio Management.
You and your talent
If you are interested, it is important that you recognise some of the following below:
Relevant Master’s degree and outstanding academic results
0-2 years working experience
Excellent analytical skills, and with an interest in modelling / valuation / structuring skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
Proficient in working with MS Excel and MS PowerPoint, or willing to learn quickly
Structured and efficient way of working
You live and study (or work) in The Netherlands.
Next to that, it is primarily important that you are interested in what we do:
You have a strong affiliation with structured finance, financial modelling and (capital) markets;
If demonstrated by relevant internship experience, extra-curricular, or other activities, this is a plus
You are curious, pro-active and entrepreneurial

a gross monthly salary in scale 7 (between 3.000 - 4.000 gross per month, depending on experience);
